One cookie
to represent
the entire North
We're searching for a cookie that captures the flavours, traditions, and stories of the Northwest Territories and we need your help finding it.
The NWT is home to flavours found nowhere else in the world, birch syrup from boreal forests, berries hand-picked from the tundra, Labrador tea steeped in tradition.
The Territorial Agrifood Association is launching The Great NWT Cookie Quest: a territory-wide search for a cookie that truly represents the Northwest Territories — its ingredients, its stories, and its people.
Whether you're an Elder with a recipe passed down through generations, a youth who bakes with their family, or a local baker experimenting with Northern flavours, we want to hear from you.
