We have plenty of opportunities at our festival and we need your help to ensure the event goes off without a hitch!

VOLUNTEER

The NWT Culinary Festival is the NWT’s first full-course food festival. We know we can’t be successful without an amazing group of volunteers and we are counting on you to come join us! We have lots of great positions, which are perfect for groups, families, and high school students.

Many components of our Festival will be handled by volunteers who bring their energy and joyful spirit to support the festival. Flexible scheduling options are provided to accommodate your availability. And don’t forget the volunteer perks; a festival shirt, snacks and beverages, discount event tickets and an invitation to our Volunteer Appreciation Celebration.

What do we expect from our volunteers?

As a volunteer you’ll be essential to the festival’s success and often the first point of contact for our guests. You are expected to commit to the schedule and to represent the festival and its organizers in a positive and professional manner at all times. To become equipped with the information that you need to perform your duties, new volunteers are expected to attend an orientation session. The orientation will offer valuable information pertaining to the festival, your specific duties and more.
